A mixed three pack to warm you up in these colder months!

1 x 2019 Camwell Grenache
1 x 2019 Camwell Nero d'Avola
1 x 2018 Camwell Cabernet

2018 Cabernet Sauvignon
Estate grown from Brad and his father’s only Cabernet block, and made from the extremely rare Cabernet clone SAVII01. The clone is known for large bunches with tiny berries, producing beautifully concentrated flavour. Fermented naturally in a small open top fermenter, gently plunged 3 times per day to extract as much flavor and structure as possible. Pressed with a hand cranked wooden press. Aged in neutral oak barrels for 13 months.
Aromatics: Green capsicum and soft warm spices
Palate: Milk chocolate, ripe strawberries and fresh plum
Fun Fact:
Every vintage, Brad and his father walk the whole Cabernet block to seek out and select the best two rows of fruit for this small batch wine.

2019 Camwell Grenache
This Old Vine Grenache is from 80 year old plantings in Blewitt Springs, right next to where we get our Viognier. It is an exceptional block that continuously produces some of the best fruit we've ever seen. Hand picked early in the morning, 20% carbonic maceration, wild fermentation and 15 months in neutral oak.
Fun Fact:
This Grenache block is so old and fragile it has to be hand picked to ensure no breakage happens. It demands a little extra love and care when you're picking it, and we're happy to oblige.
Tasting notes:
Aromatics - Raspberries and pomegranate
Palate - Red cherry with a lingering elegant finish

2019 Camwell Nero D'Avola
Grown by the Trott family in Blewitt Springs, this is one of only two vineyards we don't manage in our range. Nero D'Avola is notoriously difficult to acquire in the Vale, and we're lucky to have acquired one tonne of it! Picked early to maintain fresh acidity, pressed in our basket press and left in neutral oak for 15 months.
Fun Fact:
The Trotts have been growing grapes just as long as our family, and we love to get Nero from them whenever we can!
Aromatics - Violets and plum
Palate - Blueberry and fresh herbs
